Mondays. The start of a new week. The start of a new list of never ending "to-dos."
I am sitting in this cheap swivel office chair, sipping my hot Dunkin' Donuts coffee, listening to soft jazz music, and pretending to be working when I am really writing this blog post. I am very tempted to put in my Never Shout Never CD. Yes, THAT would make me work more efficient on these scans. But I doubt the old people that visit the office would find my taste in music "appropriate." Sigh of an Ninja.
So I know what you are thinking... if anyone is reading this at all. Why on earth did you start this silly blog, Raquel? Well, demanding imaginary person... there is one reason. I need a place to keep my written thoughts and memories. I think back at what I thought and desired just a year ago and realize that I was a different person. Just a year ago I graduated from high school, I had different beliefs, and thought I wanted to major in theatre. I thought that a certain friend (that will remain unnamed for now) would be my best friend until I was laid in my grave. I had a completely different outlook on the world. I feel like a have matured and grew up a lot in just a year. So what will I become a year from now? Well, I want to find out. I want to document as much as I can and if you are interested I guess you can come along on this roller coaster. Gah. Saving what I wrote and coming back to write. Two old ladies walked in and I have to act like I know what I am talking about. To be Continued...
I have returned. One huge carpet vacuumed, Two happy old ladies, five answered phone calls, seven trashcans emptied, and fifteen letters licked and stamped. I was on a roll. Now I am sitting back and nibbling on my egg roll. Mmmm Chinese. I hope I am making you hungry. This might become a trend in my blogs. Since I normally nibble or sip on something when I am on the computer.
Yes, back on the discussion at hand. This is my blog. It isn't fancy. It doesn't have a wacky theme. It is just me, writing down my everyday thoughts and not so exciting adventures. If you want to stick around and see where I go... you should follow I suppose. Let's just take one step at a time.
I will end this blog with the wise words from my fortune cookie:
"Anything is possible with a willing heart."
Well written fortune cookie.
